STRIKE ZONE offers a low-cost alternative to the MLB schools with three-day classes in beautiful Southwest Florida. Ladies, you're welcome, too. There are plenty of women who umpire and enjoy softball and baseball.

We are regularly contacted by high school and college assigners, mens and semi-pro leagues asking for names of qualified students who have taken our class . Providing these contacts is part of our service to you after you complete our class. We will pass this information along to you to help you get games quickly. Likewise, we will be passing along our students' information (unless you request us to keep your contact info private) to assigners who contact us so they know you are qualified and ready for work.

We teach the basics for beginners, establishing a good foundation with rules and then field training drills to round out the learning experience. Our sessions cover everything you need to know to begin umpiring at the amateur level without spending weeks in class or thousands of dollars. Our intense daily drills accelerate the learning experience.
